To be honest though Port will be around the mark next year, with a young developing side they made the GF.

Today t they got spanked but they are well placed to be a contender for teh next few years....(I just hope it is like Colllingwood circa 2002-2004   )
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Nah mate, but when I tried to re-quote WCP the system wouldn't let me as you can only have 4 embedded quotes so I took some out, apologies if they changed the context but I didn't think they did.

If they had kicked straight in the 1st quarter it would have been a 200+ margin.

I feel like I've been hit over the head with a cricket bat and for all I know I might have been.
My mouth feels like the inside of a Cocky's cage.
My throat is raw and is as red as Mark Williams' face.
I know now what I'll look like when I'm sixty because I just looked in the mirror.
I've thrown up so many times I can't even keep water down.

AND I FEEL BLOODY GREAT.

I am actually amazed that no one has mentioned Williams poor coaching performance

their were no moves coming from the coaches box.. Port lined up exactly the same after half time as they did at the start of the match

Williams had a very very bad week indeed, from the build up to the final siren

OUT-COACHED in every aspect

Frank Costa totally put his neck on the line at the end of last season to save Bomber Thompson as coach - Clearly Frank Costa has now been well and truly vindicated in his decision!

Frank Costa has put many many hours of blood sweat and tears into the Geelong Footy Club, - Awesome to see it all pay off! 8)

Seriously WTF????

It was a well umpired GF, players who were first to the got rewarded the fact it was inevitably Geelong first to teh footy meant they in most cases got the frees....

I've being saying that all year and it has been true in every instance if Port were so p!ssweak they couldn''t get first to teh footy

Only one major miss I saw and that was a smack to the chops Ling got when he had his head over the pill - clear as day on the camera (from the fence) but on the blind side to the umpire in the centre corridor...

Sheedy did that in the prelim of 93 against the crows and it worked for him...maybe that's where he got the idea from?
