This ia a club that would prefer to see WCE fail than see their own club succeed, a club that is the laughing stock of the AFL. They play 3 grand finals a year, NAB Derby, and the 2 home and away derbys.

Things need to change at Freo..

It is this mentality that is holding Freo back as a club. They need to realise that beating your neighbour doesnt win you a flag.

Look back at 2004, when Port won the flag - up until then, you got the feeling that the Showdowns meant everything to them. IMO, when they finally worked out that beating Adelaide during the home-and-away rounds is worth little more than bragging rights, they achieved their elusive goal.

While it is great for the supporters to win the local derbies, they equate to 2 games a year - 8 premiership points. Alot of energy can be wasted in these games.

while it is amusing it is sad because we all know who the 'characters' are in this story & lives not only theirs but their family & friends are affected by what has happened but until bc & others WANT to stop no one can help them

Family loyalty - my wife grew up in Queenstown and her whole family are career Portites. As a Norwood supporter I had some tense confrontations with her old man at times! So when they don't play the Crows I support them to support her, and to some extent because they are an SA team and I live in Vic.

When they do play the Crows I don't say much - just sit there smirking and duck the things thrown at me!

Fremantle - 13 seasons of aspiring to be mediocre.
This is a club that made a baseball hat when they won their first derby. Okay nice to win but it's a MINOR ROUND MATCH!! As I explained to my Freo supporting mate most clubs make baseball hats when they win a premiership.
