What a freaking sensational win, just awesome!!!

Fair call, I found it the most enjoyable contest I've watched in years ... For mine it was a hark back to the old SANFL glory days, when Port would throw everything bar the kitchen sink at you physicallym and you would have to weather the storm and keep playing the ball.

Old school footy from both teams and possibly the Crows greatest (non-finals) victory.

Agreed. The Crows best win for years. And the youngsters stood up, that was the key.

and how good were the young blokes??? the rucks gave away a few silly frees but made up for it with their field play. Griffs goal in the last quarter will boost his confidence and what about Mackays vision in the first quarter to find Goodwin ..... Good hard footy... There will be some sore blokes tommorrow thats for sure...

Was very happy with how Port played. We may be 0-3, but we'll make the eight if we play like that every week.

One of the best showdowns i have seen Well done to the crows.Also well done to Port on a good game

Full credit to the Crows.

They played with 20 players for most of the last half and still managed to get the points.

Port played 110% better than rounds 1 & 2 and the 0-3 start to the season isn't as bad as it looks.

Hopefully, just hopefully, Port can continue to play this game style and get their season back on track.

Port were controversially ( ) tougher this week obviously out to prove the "they're soft" critics wrong and I thought they showed they can mix it with anyone. I feel for Tredders I think injuries and age have caught up with him.

I also thought the much maligned Michael Doughty was good again! Bock and Johncock were great in defence again, Stiffy completely outpointed Ebert.

Got to give credit too to NC - he has his doubters but he's responded to the problems of 2007 (ageing list and goal-scoring) and also proved that the kids were being developed in the background even if they weren't getting the game time some of us wanted. I have always felt his strengths are developing juniors and building game plans to get the most out of whoever is on the park, and both were on display tonight.

We have had only 1 home game so far.....
