1/2 time Smears by 4 goals.
Word has it that Thomas has got a management consultant in at half time and they have revisited their mission statement and team values, an open forum was held where all stakeholders were able to offer their unbiased and non personalised views on their key performance indicators and team objectives.
three sub committees workshoped the drivers (midfield) converters (forwards) and stabilisers (defence) where they benchmarked their performance against IBM, microsoft and General electric business objectives.
After a 10 page report and and executive summary from all personnel, that had been checked for gender bias, equal opportunity and spelling........
The Saints are gunna go out and have a red hot go, pump it long and have a crack!!!

he he, I try to pick the Power in footy tips as much as I can, that way I'm happy with either result.

For me, this game is one of the few occassions I find myself cheering for the Power
Thomas, can't stand the bloke, "can't coach"
Be interested to see what the saints do at the end of the year if they don't make the GF

Ah the great leadership experiment, give everyone a go at being captain and you develop a leaderfull club. You develop 18 leaders not just one.........
Well Nicko, last years captain, you have an opportunity to kick a goal to bring your team to wihin a goal and your leadership skills??????
Ball kicks the next goal and what would have happened if the great leadership experiment worked.
Funny whenever it is on the line no-one from St Kilda want to stand up e.g. last years final against Sydney.....
Choose one leader and stick to it Saints and you might have a chance.....Right now noone in St Kilda knows who the leader is.
Mind you as a Crows supporter what do I care!!!

Maybe the 15 other clubs have each agreed to pay the Saints $50,000 a year on the premise that Thomas remains as coach. They'd be happy to pay his wage knowing how good the Saints would be with someone who can actually coach!!

Damn it, took a punt and went for the Saints.
Worst tipping round for the year so far after a good start and winning the beers in the BWS comp last week.

With all respect to the Power, if the Saint's couldn't win tonight's game, they'll be lucky to even make the 8.

Great win, marred only by Wakes' lack of discipline.
Should know better than to let a pi$$ant like Milne get under his skin. We can't afford to have experienced players like him out - not with all the kids we're playing.
Look forward to two weeks time when we're due to be 'up' again in this rollercoaster season.

How soft are some of the Saints players. Havn't seen that many people backing out since me and a few mates accidently walked into a gay bar.

I think that's 9 in a row for the power against the Saints.
Congrats to the power great win, I think consistency will be an issue for both these clubs as they are very reliant on their top 6 players

I think it's 7 or 8 wins over the Saints in recent meetings.

Blake from St Kilda pulled out of a contest, didn't even hold Wakelin on the mark, Wakelin runs off, Blake falls over in the background. The Saints are an un-disciplined ship without a rudder (or captain). Port worked the ball a whole lot better, & looked the better side all night. This round was a hard one for tipping, so many games could've gone either way. I'm currently on 4 & have selected Collingwood.

just checked the AFL web-site, it's 9 in a row the power have won over the saints.
So many so called experts say the saints have the best list, yes thier top 6-8 players are as good as what is going around but after that I am not so sure......
But then again I often wonder what Blighty could of done with this group or at least someone that could coach

They're Port Power, yes the real Port Power
Will the real Port Power
Please Stand Up
Please Stand Up
Cripes!! I've only tipped them successfully once out of four rounds. Bring back Fitzroy!! At least you knew what they were going to do on a given week

REB

Given the quality of both sides over the last few seasons it is a good effort by the boys to have won the last 8 games against the 'Ainters.
(Please note the coach of the Saints is not the sharpest tool in the shed.)
