Prediction - Saints will not win the flag

Postby sydney-dog » Sun Apr 30, 2006 2:23 pm

It's only Rnd 5, 1/4 time of the Freo v Saints clash, but I have watched the Saints closely this year and I am happy to put my nuts on the block and declare that the Saints will not win the Flag in 2006, no matter what today's result is.

1. They are so poorly coached, they have a Plan A but if that does not work, they get lost, players do play like they beleive in the game plan

2. As shown against Port, they lack strength and class in their defence, the Saints kicked 18 goals and lost the match

3. Lack strength in the Ruck, Ackland will not guide them to a premiership, Kosi is always injured

4. Too many injuries, Hamil and Kosi will struggle to get through a full season.

5. Too many players under acheiving, including Godard, Fiora, Muarry

6. Saintsrely too heavily on Ball, Dal Santo, Hayes and Nick Rewialt, too big of a gap between these players and their second tier players

The Saints need a fresh change at season end

not to mentioned undiscipline

Fraser got reported, gave four 50m penalties away, which resulted in two goals before Thomas dragged him.

The saints lack discipline and leadership........

There is only ONE reason why St.Kilda will not win the flag and that it is
because they ARE St.Kilda.
One fluke premiership in 130 years of existence is proof positive that the club doesn't have
what it takes to be power.
They can have priority & high draft picks for ten years and still not know HOW to win.
They screwed up perfectly good chances in '97 &'98 to claim a flag but then went into a nosedive
which is so typical of this club.
I should know, I have (painfully!) supported them for 40 years.
I'd like to think I'm sensible enough to realise I won't see them win another flag, because of the very simple reason
which I mentioned. :x

Love watching the G-Train.

Especially when he loses the plot.

Like today.

They wont win the flag until the St Kilda head honchos realise that Grant Thomas - can not coach

Even if he is doin it for free - Get rid of him
It is what it is !!!
