Ex-pat policy?

I am currently lobbying with Adrian Anderson and Andy Demitriou to have an ex-pat policy put in place which will allow any club to re-draft any given player they have traded over the last 10 years. This giving clubs an opportunity to rebuild relationships which will benefit both club and player.
We at Port Adelaide are currently looking into this move as being a season defining moment, sadly it would have little or no impact on some clubs, but as the father-son-rule shows, not much in the AFL is fair in todays climate.
The players we at Port Adelaide are interested in having back:
1:Nathan Eagleton: Traded to the Western Bulldogs when mid-field stocks were at their highest. Please return.
2:Tom Harley :Traded to Geelong when defensive key position players were at an all time high. Please return.
3:Mathew Bode :Traded to Adelaide when small goal kicking forwards/midfielders was at an all time high. Please return
4:Byron Pickett : Traded, well,I dont know why....we need match winners more than ever before!
5:Brett Montgomery: Traded when we had an abundance of experienced defenders ! HA!
6:Barnaby French: Traded to Carlton when ruck stocks were at an all time high. Please return.
7:Rhett Biglands :Traded to Adelaide when ruck stocks were at an all time high. You can keep this one though.
8:Brent Guerra: Traded when hard in and under players were all over the midfield. Please return.
We feel with the addition of this group we can be competitive and we look forward to the remainder of the season.
(For those of you who would be critical of this post,it is tongue in cheek)

Maybe when Choco said to Byron "We need someone to crash through packs", Byron mis-heard him, & thought he said "parked cars"

The only 2 Port would consider i believe would be Harley and Eagleton, and possibly Bode.....oh and maybe Biglands too given our current ruck injury worries.

I fear for the footballing future of Tom Harley. The Tomcat has a denigrative hip (I know I've probably spelt that wrong LOL) and we will never get a full season out of him again. I reckon you can have Harley back next season..just give us White and a draft pick ha ha..after all, you gave Choppy away for what?? Oh yeah, that's right..he was being umpired out of the game
regards,
REB

Even umpires cant stop talent from rising to the top.(See last weeks Melbourne V Kangaroos game).Makes me wonder why, more than ever Port need individual brilliance to help with the overall inconsistency of our group, and we trade a player of Picketts unquestionable talent.

Port could teach Rhett Shitlands to bump someone without knocking himself out!

The point is you lost Alan Stewart and the Crows got him. Any coincidence the turnaround of both clubs?

Considering he has only been at the club for just over 12 months, and his position is youth development and recruitment, you would think his impact to this stage would be minimal.I think you need to give Neil Craig more credit for the Crows current position. However,do not under play the importance of the move of Stewart to Adelaide.A huge loss to Port, along with Pittman and Clarkson at the same time.
(To be replaced by great's such as Peter Rohde and Tony McGuiness.I can hear REB's sides splitting from here.)

Booney, I give plenty of credit to Craigy but you only have to hear Craigy talk about Stewy and he piles on the credit to Alan.
It is no secret that the crows have struggled over the years in developing the young guys on the list, there were times when our young guys could not even break in to SANFL League teams, so if you measure Maric, Knights, Van Berlo improvement, not just by AFL games but also by quality of footy they are playing at SANFL League level, well I think Stewy can take a lot of credit for this and Craigy has acknowledged this on numerous occasions publicly
