For me, Adrian Anderson needs to be sacked over this incident.

He is the AFL Operations Manager, he is responsible for signing odd that Aurora Stadium is fit for purpose, he is also responsible to ensure that their are quality control measures in place so these types of incidents do not occur.

Their are two root causes
1. PA System was not fit for purpose
2. Time Keeper made an error in not continuing to blow the siren

Adrian, these fall under your area of responsibility.......

Adrian it is time for you to leave the house

Andy presently has a million dollar plus offer on the table to take up a position in the racing industry, which is $400,000 over his current salary.

Word is he will take it and Anderson is front runner for the senior job.

Nervous times ahead maybe.

Contemporary football administrators know how to do one thing well, and that is make money. Everything else is like a tropical fruit salad to them. They are business people, not football people. Some may say we live in the past, but administrators like Bob McLean and Wally Miller would never have allowed this to happen. They had the welfare of the game and the people at heart, and made a few dollars along the way. They understood they were custodians of the game and tried to leave it in better shape than when they came into it. All the AFL knows how to do is rape as much money as possible from the public and they couldn't care less how much irrepairable damage they incur in the interim.

They are not going to keep making big money if they stuff up the product with fiascos like the Freo game on the weekend.

Totally agree. You can add Brian Cunningham onto that list too. Get him in to fix things up. The two clowns they have there now aren't good enough to do the job.

Absolutly, as business men they should relise that a product might make money, but if its flawed then you'll probably end up getting sued.

Anderson's performance at yesterday's press conference (if you could call it that!)
was atrocious. He couldn't answer a simple question about the current statis of the
drawn(?) game. Idiot!

To the mind of many, including this poster, they have already stuffed up the product prior to Sundays controversy!!

You're right. I think most of us passionate SANFL supporters agree but we're in the minority :( perhaps things will change if they keep stuffing up in such a big way :)

I've always been a passionate SANFL supporter, but previously followed the AFL significantly more than I do now, my taste in football just does not accept the decreasing number of contests, beit aerial or at ground level ... It's always going to be a personal choice thing, but for mine, Sunday in Tassie aside, the game at the highest level has changed so dramatically that I've lost most of my interest in it ...

The AFL themselves must be of the same opinion. The recent rule changes and trials suggest that they are trying to counter recent coaching policies.
