S-D. As much as i hate to say it, but i think you could be right there. It is quiet sad thing, as i think there is a fair bit of talent at Alberton at the moment, but it seems as if the the players hearts arnt in it any more.

something not right at alberton, their is undiscipline behaviour off the field and on the field their is a lack of spirit, I am not sure if some of port's problems can be fixed at training or during the season...........
I just feel the club needs a fresh directiion, the club has done extremely well to win a flag in such a short period and their is no doubt that the Port tradition was a major factor in achieving this success....
Port will always have it's history to be proud of but in my opinion it needs to build it's future on much more, you always here the same chorus from the club, Port's Tradition, Port never say die attitude, Port this and Port that,
Memo to the Power, stop trying to build this club the same way as the Port Magpies in the SANFL.
This is a different comp and a different time, the club needs to penertrate other markets other then it's traditoon Port market or it will die, it needs to bring the best people to the club, it needs to broaden it's vision outside of it's traditional port strategies
Be proud of your history, your heritage and your tradition but also show the courage to create your own

Interesting (and quite surprising) to see J Johnson and Peverill dropped for the bombers.

Bombers have lost 7 in a row.Sheedy's 600th (!) game as coach.Port at a low we have not seen before,(player stock wise) and under the roof at the Dome.Essendon to play for Sheed's and most of the Port blokes to play for themselves/careers/season.Should in fact be fairly close,Essington by a couple of goals.
D'oh!

Going for bombers. Why? It's in Melbourne, Bombers have higher % meaning when they lose it's only about a 3-4 goal lose compared with a 10+ goal lose to Port.

Essendon to win for me - If it was in Adelaide I might of been prepared to give them ( Port ) one more chance

Peverill, seems to be the Bombers fall guy, he has been in and out of the side all year

I think that a few of you boys are predicting things a bit to early. There is still more then enough games this year for all teams to redeem themselves, all you need is a few key changes, and things can change around completly!

I think the concern for Port is not just how many games they have lost, but how they have lost them, they have a tough second half on the season with majority road games and they have major concerns with thier midfield and they are playing without any spirit
it would take a sensational turn around for the Power to challenge for the finals

I wasnt actually talking about finals. I think its pretty obivious they wont be playing then. That comment was meant to be about them being wooden spooners.
