Well if i was talking about mid year retirements he would have been the first person named. But as i was not talking about mid year retirements, he wasnt considered.

Has Hall actually retired? He quit the Swans but i don't think he actually said he wasn't going to play again. Could well play for another club yet.

MELBOURNE defenders Paul Wheatley and Matthew Whelan have announced their retirements and will aim to overcome injury to return for send-off games.

Agreed .. Individual honours probably don't do justice to his career, but not easy snaring awards with a couple of champions he's played with.

Has had a great career and added plenty to the game.
