Cat news for Wedgie...and Tiger Boss

Postby Rik E Boy » Fri Nov 18, 2005 8:34 am

Jimmy Bartel and young ruckman Mark Blake have signed up with the Cats. Cameron Thurley is holding out for a two year deal but the club only wants to give him one year...the scuttlebutt from bigfooty is that a possible swap for the Kangaroos Mark Stevens is on the cards but I fail to see what Stevens would bring to the group.

In other news former Docker defender Andrew Siegert has been training with the Cats but they might have to hide him from the Western Bulldogs who have apparently also show interest. Ah, love this time of year NOT.

Cameron Thurley has just gone into the pre-season draft. Cam is a good shot for goal and kicks the ball well but is generally suspect when it comes to winning his own ball.

There seems to be a few more players heading into the PSD than other years. Who do you reckon will pick him up REB?

The Roos have shown some interest but I reckon a Carlton or Collingwood might get in first.
