Whilst in Melbourne a week or two ago, the rumour doing the rounds was Meesen from Adelaide to the Bulldogs for Faulkner.

The crows rated Faulker so highly Reid has compared him to a young Mcleod. The kid has struggled with living in Melbourne and the club believes thaey can tapp in to his unlimited potential........

Good trade young Cam has pace something the Crows need
in the near future.
Centrals barrackers will have noticed his talents.

I heard a while ago Messen isn't happy over here in SA so I would think he would end up back in Victoria.

I think it would be a win-win trade, your right his pace would be huge for the crows and the Dogs need talls, both players would benefit from being in their home states

If Faulkner was available I would think the Power would be interested?

He would fit in well with that club.[Faulkner]
Meeson shows signs but theres something lacking.

And yeah we need pace as i reckon after this year the
West Coasters will well and truly be too quick for the Crows.
Im hoping that 5th gear will get us over the line this year.

don't know about 5th gear but hopefully footy smarts, the eagles have been outstanding last 2 weeks and the crows disappointing but I still have a question mark over the eagles, their midfield are outstanding but if they don't kick goals they can be in trouble......

Traditionally in finals midfielders do not kick a lot of goals, their is not as much space, if this style of footy continues in this years finals well the eagles may be in a bit of trouble, especially in melbourne

If they can beat us at aami they can beat us at the gee ?
I would be concerned on a dry day.
Sydney beat them on a swirly windy day in the 06 g/f. when denied space.

GWW confession time.
I followed St.Kilda because I wanted to have an AFL team.
When the Crows were born I wanted to support the South
Australian team making them my second team.
I am pro South Australian and my 3rd favourite team is Port Power.
Just to confuse you I had made West Coast Eagles my second
favourite team when they joined, they were then my 3rd team
when Adelaide was born, and you guessed it my 4th team when Port
Power was born.
But if Norwood became the second afl team instead of Port Power then
Crows would be my third team.
Just for the record I did barrack for St. Kilda in that 1997 grand final.
And one last thing whos on first ..........

9 out of last years top 10 draft picks are out injured

Q. Are clubs playing the young kids too much too early before their bodies have fully developed for AFL footy

I saw a bit of the game on Saturday v Richmond, the only thing i remember him doing was kick a goal, albeit one of the goals of the year!! I remember he did have a good reputation before being drafted, but i can't help but thinking that the Crows should try and get someone better for Meesen than him. But i guess all in all, it could be a win/win trade for both clubs/players.

Their was big wraps on Faulkner before he was drafted, the crows had him eyed out for their top selection,

In regards to getting a better player for Meesen, what is his value, he has not played a league game and has struggled at Norwood, for all we know he could be another dudd like Watts and ANGWIN....

No way we should get rid of Meesen for Faulkner with Clarke gonna bow out Meesen should be given game time in 2007 and hopefully playing well will increase his price more than someone like Faulkner. Cooney would be 1 I would look at in 1, or 2 years - or even Pav. He will come back to play in SA in the next 3 years.
