1984? I don't recall what happened that year. Did they even play a grand final, nothing sticks in the memory.

The Burger King threw a few Whoppers..he always was a few buns short of a loaf. Your lot couldn't beat Aishy so you spent all day trying to knock his block off.

The takeover plan is almost complete, all key positions are occupied, and we just need to wait for the final collapse.
Then we change the colours, the name, and the attitude...

The decision is worth it just for the melting down that's happening on the Port forum on another site.
The hilarious thing is, some of the great names of Port Adelaide all started elsewhere and Thomas will probably turn out to be very good in the role.

Im confident this will turn out to be very beneficial for Ports.
KT is an excellent bloke, very approachable and has exceptional business acumen.
His short off-field involvement at Norwood (so granted, a much smaller scale than the Power) showed that he also very much believed in returning the club to the common people, rather than having an office of suits and ties dictating as they pleased.
He would have as much idea about the tradition and various legacies of the club as anyone.
Hope he helps the club recover some lost ground and make new ground along the way.

Believe so, i remember being told years ago at a Norwood function that his parents were actually willing to move into Ports zone so he could play for them, thank goodness the rest is history

Not intended to be a dig at Power:
I have never heard of Keith Thomas, and seeing pics I couldn't recognise him, I think that is a good thing...
Looking at club's with notorious administrators, they end up getting more column inches than the good work of players...
Jeff Kennett, David Smorgon, Eddie McGuire all spring to mind...

To be fair to those blokes (or at least 2 of them) whether it was good or bad publicity, they certainly helped raise the profile of their clubs.

In this day and age you dont need a massive club man as your CEO, you need a damn good CEO in general. One that knows how to get a business making money! For god sakes its a simple thing really, get the club in a good position financially then the rest will follow.

How do you prove it?
Is admitting it on radio sufficient proof?

My balls are perfectly fine where they are... Unsullied by the memory of Port Adelaide's new hack administrators...
