Gotta admit I never rated Stevens and always though when he was picked we were short on numbers. But cant fault him at the momemnt.

my concern with Stevens is with the one on one contested ball, he gets too many contested marks on him, this may hurt the club in the finals-

First time I think ive agreed with you sydney dog - Admit I have only seen 2 games this year and 1 was his first vs West Coast at footy park and some young tall kid for the Eagles tore him to shreds in the 3rd and 4th qtr!
From what Ive read he has provided decent contests and rebound, but 1-on-1 he is still same old.
Get Mcgregor in the key spot!

Freo are a show here. They are doing a fantastic job at the mo of slamming the door in our face (not that we deserve a finals spot on the basis of the tripe we've served up this year so far). I never thought I'd say this but Go the Crows!! Ugh!

Freo like Footy Park and it is clear the Crows are in a flat spot, let's hope Freo come up trumps and the Cows stay in the duldrums for a month or so yet...

Who will stand Pavlich if he moves up the ground?

I would like to see Bock follow him all day although he probably would not have the fitness at AFL level to do this at the minute. If it is Stevens then Pavlich will have minimum 6 goals for the game

If Pavlich is on I can't see too many in the Cows list capable of minimalising his input, perhaps Rutten would be a good option but I'm sure Craigy would prefer him closer to goal ... I'd imagine NC will want to retain a fluent structure out of half back and would prefer not to have to use a Bassett or Torney although I think the latter could do well on him if he plays further out from goal

Torney on Pavlich, yes please sir..Im not sure any one in the current Adelaide side, bar Rutten is capable of holding him,a challenge for Craigy indeed.

If Torney lines up on Pavlich I will switch the TV off and assume a Crows loss

Kingsley to stay in the Geelong 22 and kicks 10 this weekend (including four contested pack marks) as the Cats win by 6.
