Wesern Bulldogs home games

Western Bulldogs have paid the penalty AGAIN for playing home games at an interstate venue. This year they have lost to Sydney in Sydney.
Tonight they lost in Darwin to Port Power.

$$$$$$$$$$ is obviously more important than 4 points.

This is a farce.

if you have to sell home games interstate to break even then why not friggin move there permanently and if your home ground has a shithouse playing surface then move elsewhere

That crap only happens at AFL level.

Not where the real footy is played.

Western Bulldogs
They lost in Sydney this year again.
They lost in Darwin.
Now they will be rooted after playing in that heat.

St. Kilda persist in Hobart.
Kangarooteds are shifting from Canberra to Gold Coast.
Hawthorn continue in Hobart, and went to Brisbane for a home game in 2006
Melbourne keep going to Brisbane.

Its not a level playing field for these clubs.
The AFL calls it an expansion of the game, if thats the case why
not get AC/PP/SS/WC/FR/BL to give up home games as well.

Add to this the ground rationalisation of WB/SK/KA at the Doom
CO/ES/ML at the Gee and its just very very unfair.

As for the Bulldogs they are the most disadvantaged club in the AFL,
which is a pity as they and West Coast are two of the few clubs that
try and play inspiring football.

The Bulldogs don't get a choice.

Part of the conditions of the annual 1 to 2 million bail out the dogs receive from the AFL is that they MUST play 2 "home games" interstate each season.

Until the club can stand financially on it's own feet (probably not in the next decade) then nothing else will change.
