He has now been charged with multiple offences including "one count each each of 'causing serious harm', 'intent to cause serious harm' and being 'armed with an offensive weapon'".

Interesting comment in the 2nd article:-
It's one crisis after another. I'd challenge Chris Judd to live with that and still perform as an AFL footballer. Up until this, Liam hasn't missed a beat."

Good article by the Age, you can talk about the exaggerated term 'star' in the headlines etc etc but the facts are 90% of people on this site and majority of the wider community cant understand what Liam has dealt with in his life and the efforts he has made to come to Melb and play AFL football. The additional pressure of a massive family/community feud and the expectation on him to help them as well as be exposed to completely foreign things as simple as the beach and a gym its amazing he has survived this long in the big smoke.

Boo bloody Hoo. We all have pressures in life and some do it harder than others. Indigenous have excuses made for them far too often, who the hell attacks someone with a machete. Lock him up and thanks for the memories you criminal.

Yeah I have pressures in my life, and i bet most other people do...im not gonna take a chunk outta someones head. I bet if a white guy from a lower socio-economic background did it most people would want the "feral" locked up...

In no way is this racist either, because I judge people on their actions, not the colour of their skin...

Hey im not condoning what he did for one second..... do the crime do the time, Krakour style.

But what I was mainly refering to was the article highlights the things we cant really understand ie being made to go in the freezing water at the beach for each recovery when you havent seen a beach in 20 years of your life (probably doesnt like the cold either  ) plus the connection of an aboriginal to not only their family but their community cannot be understated/understood by many.

Oops, did I miss the guilty verdict, must have been a special sitting of the court and a quick one as well...

The situation in outback indigenous communities is one that the average Australian will never know, understand or comprehend. If you've never been to one, do yourself a favour and make a visit, it may just give you some pause for thought.

I think the best course of action would be to round up the kids and place them in families in the city to avoid them growing up with this culture. This solution will work.
