Why do they keep referring to him as a recovering drug addict? He's still a junkie!!

There is a huge difference between a drug-addict and a junkie- whatever you think of him, he is not a junkie.
A drug addict is not a junkie, but a junkie is a drug addict.
The junkie bit comes in when you lose all sense of self-respect and morals, and would sell your own mother for a hit.
99% of the time, the only way junkies break their habit, is in death.
Cousins can break his addiction, but he has to really want to.

Well said Punky. Problem is Ben still has the money to support his habit. You could tell he still was addicted when he went to Richmond and he shaved his body hair. He may have cleaned himself up to finish his career at Richmond but he got back on it.

Lets remember some things here.....

*He is an Adult that made choices to initially take drugs in the first place.
*No doubt he has been educated on the effects of drugs on the body and mind than 90% of us even before he took them initially.
*He was paid a ridiculous amount of cash to play a sport, paid by the members and supporters of AFL.

He gets absolutely no remorse from me no matter what people say ect. You're a clown buddy and you're choices as an adult have bitten you on the backside.
