And he'll be able to smuggle more drugs in there afterwards as well.

There is a huge difference between a drug-addict and a junkie- whatever you think of him, he is not a junkie.
A drug addict is not a junkie, but a junkie is a drug addict.
The junkie bit comes in when you lose all sense of self-respect and morals, and would sell your own mother for a hit.
99% of the time, the only way junkies break their habit, is in death.
Cousins can break his addiction, but he has to really want to.

Well said Punky. Problem is Ben still has the money to support his habit. You could tell he still was addicted when he went to Richmond and he shaved his body hair. He may have cleaned himself up to finish his career at Richmond but he got back on it.

Seems to be a lot of people on here defending the addiction side of drugs.

Lets remember some things here.....

*He is an Adult that made choices to initially take drugs in the first place.
*No doubt he has been educated on the effects of drugs on the body and mind than 90% of us even before he took them initially.
*He was paid a ridiculous amount of cash to play a sport, paid by the members and supporters of AFL.

He gets absolutely no remorse from me no matter what people say ect. You're a clown buddy and you're choices as an adult have bitten you on the backside.

Call me arrogant, heartless or stupid I couldn't give a rats.

I can guarantee that anyone in this thread that has no sympathy for Ben Cousins has never been close to someone with a drug addiction.

Got a kid and he's sticking a traffic able amount of gear in his ass.
Strong role model.

Ive had people in my life kick a 30yr drug addiction.

Personally I don't think that even matters.

Yeah...he never sold his story to the highest bidder either.
He's made money off his addiction...wonder where it went.

I can't believe that I'm reading in different places and forums that there are people who are sympathetic or feel sorry for Cousins. I feel sorry for his family and friends, but not a tinge of sadness for him and the decisions he has made.

Seems as though he gave her a moment or two of his time and then he gets off the plane and they continue to follow him. I'd have told them to "**** OFF!" too.
