Anyone seen much of the younger players we have in the SANFL this year? Particularly:
Crouch
Ellis-Yolman
Lyons
Grigg
Kerridge
Brown - obvioulsy in line for a call up this week

Anyone who is struggling? Anyone showing signs?

Ellis-Yolman is still playing in the 2's at the Eagles. Not sure if he has played league yet

Pretty sure he has been playing league most or the year heater. I have watched 2 games and he has been in the 1's both times.

Yeah I head he had played atleast 1 in the league side and think he may have had an injury in the pre season. He was described to me as an Adam Goodes type player, an skilled athletic player that can play small or tall? of course not suggesting he will be ha;f the player Adam is (fingers crossed though  )

Crouch -
Ellis-Yolman - the couple of games I have seen him play he has it there just still very raw. finds a bit of the ball and uses it very well.
Lyons - already played a couple games at top level this year and going very well for the Bays. Will be a handy forward pocket in the coming years.
Grigg - haven't seen much of him this year so no comment.
Kerridge - still very early in his development. hasn't been setting the world alight for the double blues but will be a good prospect after another pre season
Brown - obvioulsy in line for a call up this week

He played against South on the weekend but didn't get a great deal of the ball. I have heard the same description though. Fingers crossed he is a 1/4 of the player Goodes is.

Rory Laird might end up the best IMO, he is an absolute jet. He has been in great form at the Bloods

Aiden Riley is a stand out for Sturt, he's really improved a lot over the last few years. Hard at the ball, get's the ball out of a pack beautifully and good second efforts. I reckon he'll get a game by the end of the year and in all honesty I'd rest maybe Thompson and give Riley and others a run. Kerridge has been ok but turns the ball over a bit and takes too long to make a decision but he's getting better.

I thought he played ok against centrals in their last game. Has good pace.

Grigg spent most of the season thus far in the Magoo's at Norwood, then played league against Sturt and Central .. IMHO he was pretty impressive against the Dogs, put his body on the line and has an exceptional kick.

Ellis-Yolman has spent much of the year in the Eagles reserves. Has looked good in his couple of league opportunities. He's definitely a project player and will take him a while before we see him debut for the Crows.

Mitch Grigg developing nicely, great user of the ball.

And as mentioned before, Crouchy just keeps getting better and better

Johnston with the 3rd best defender will be handful when Jenkins and Walker come back

Bump from 5 years ago

I'm am really happy and proud for Lairdy to become an AA. Was a small quiet kid at Westies when he first arrived but had so much talent and those at the club knew he was destined for bigger things. Did it the hard way through the rookie list but just worked his ass off

Great kid too
