It is time to leave

For season 2006, It is now time to GO

Richmond, - Another development year, Deledio, Raines, Tambling and Polo will be better next year but this work men like team needs to find some class, a fit N Brown will help and in desperate need for tall defenders, 2008 may be their year to challenge for top 8

Geelong, - Most disappointing club in the comp, Bomber is blaming the previous fitness coach, supporters are blaming senior players and senior players are blaming the coach, total mess. Bomber is obviously in the gun but the list is in need of re-engineering, today's result was a true reflection of the Cats year, key stat, can't win the comp if small forwards are your tow dominat forwards, Ablett 35 goals, Chapman 31 goals

Hawks, finished the season winning the last four, plenty to look forward too, Franklin, Roughead and Williams will form a very dangerous forward line for years to come, but need to find some leg speed through the midfield and a strong body down back to handle the gorilla's in the comp.

Port, second half of the year turned the clubs fortunes around, injuries bring opportunity and the club will be expecting strong competition for spots in the side over pre-season, a class midfielder and tall strong defenders will be on the clubs shopping list

Lions, like Port, injuries bring opportunity, with Bradshaw and J Brown playing up forward together nect year the club can look forward to better results, but 2008 looks more likely for a retrun of sept action

Kanga's, - the club took some gambles in the off season and may start 2007 season even further behind the ball, on the positives the club found a couple of ruckman, but the club need to bite the bullet and have a clear direction instead of looking for the quick band aid fix

Essendon, Sheedy the spin doctor has been at his best trying to trick the football world, the truth is, Bulldogs, Richmond, Hawks, Port, Lions all have younger lists while Bulldogs, Richmond, Port and Lions have had more injuries.... Essendon is a stale club with a stale game plan that is too reliant on one player Llyod, even with senior players such as Hird, Fletcher, Hille, Lucas, Johnson, Mcphee and good young 50 game players such as McVeigh, Pevrill, Watson and Stanton, the club is going backwards....... time for a new coach and fresh idea's, surely even hird gets sick of hearing the same voice

Carlton, - Two wooden spoons in a row, changes are also needed at this once great club, the question that is often debated is, can Pagen coach a young list or is he just a good coach of an established group, my view is Carlton need to find a Clarkson type of coach who can relate to a young group and develop them, the poor mail on Pagen for a long time is his poor player management when it comes to young players and the double standards he has amongst the playing group......, more pain ahead in 2007

If a grouip of players consciously or sub-consciously demonstrated they do not like playing for coach surely it was Geelong today. For a side that should be playing finals against a group of kids a hard fought loss would be acceptable (just) but to turn up your toes from the first quarter - well it smacks of lack of respect for the club and its long suffering supporters.

Big question marks over the the Geelong Footy Club, its coach and most importantly its playing group over Summer. Fair dinkum every Geelong supporter has been let down this year.

For a side that should have been aiming for the 2 nd week of finals at the very least to put in that effort today tells me that they are either highly over-rated and players heads must roll or that the coach has "lost" the playing goup and he can not take them any further and has to be let go.....

As a Glenelg supporter I know the feeling...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I hope the club shows some balls here I'm not saying that Bomber should stay but the playing group also needs to take some responsibility for this year and they too should be held accountable

The risk for the club is they shoot the coach, keep the senior players and next year when things don't go to plan the players drop[ their heads again
