Melbourne aren't much more than a demo of an AFL team at the minute

Maybe some past players have to get involved.

Something is amiss at Melbourne since Big Jim departed.

C'mon Melbourne. LIFT :D

Watch the shizenhousen hit the fan now. Neil Craig would be sweating on Nield falling on his sword. And good luck to Craig if he emerges with the top job. He couldn't do any worse.

Craig is part of the problem. He brought Sellar to the club for the start. After spending the entire game carefully avoiding earning a possession by dropping a succession of marks he rose to even greater heights when he stepped back and let an Essendon player grab the pill and ended up tackling Shannon Byrnes who ended up beating the Dons man. Worst player in the league for many years and Craig got him to Melbourne.

Not one of the coaching staff at Melbourne have a future in the game and judging by the looks on their faces they all know it. Neeld's prematch address was so lukewarm a Siberian wouldn't have bathed in it.

Gary Lyon or nothing?

Lyon is far to smart to risk his reputation coaching that list. I reckon they should try and get Sheedy next year. These guys need the basics and learn about gut running and bleeding for the jumper. Jack Watts in particular is a far better player than modern coaching has turned him in to. Time for a fire breather, a mongrel. Too many nice coaches in a row.

Gary Lyon has appointed the last two coaches, not sure he would be a great choice.

I think he would rather his job in the media rather than the stress of coaching a joke of an AFL team.
