Shocking news. There seems to be a lot of knee injuries the last few seasons compared to 10/15 years ago

Puts massive question marks over an already ordinary start to 2013! He wasnt kicking goals but IMO has been one of our better players so far this season, he was working hard up the ground, possibly too far but seemed to do what he needed to do and added more offensive pressure to his game. Now need to find another avenue to goal, not sure who really!

Terrible news for Taylor Walker. This could open the door for Lewis Johnston.

Very bad news for him hate anybody doing a knee....as to your theory about more knees being injured than 10-15 years ago do you think because the game is much quicker now and training more harder their bodys are under way more pressure...

You can't blame training or pace of the game on it. The leg is just not meant to bend that that. Looked really bad from the future...didn't think it was that bad when he was sitting on the bench.

Agree, this injury IMO had nothing to do with the pace of the game, just a football injury where he landed awkwardly and knee gone!

I was interested how you could diagnose the injury by the way he was sitting on the bench?

Thats how he could see how bad it was from how Walker sat on the bench!

Crows season over before it even began. That's alright don't have to pay attention to the AFL again until next year.

Pretty sure a few years ago this same discussion took place after a lot of knee injuries. Then went quiet and a few shoulders were done. Osteitis Pubis was big for a while, hammys last year, now knees again. I think it's just bad luck, nothing to do with the game.
