About 100 games too many, unfortunately we have a habit of keeping blokes like him on the list too long.
After seeing a couple of his home videos though I’m sure he will enjoy retirement :)

Thought Hibberd was decent enough, slow but big body mid which something Essendon lacks

I think we might try to offload Hurley if he wants and we want to keep Saad but his asking price is getting fairly high. I think we would look at offers for him

Medal count was lunch time yesterday in QLD. Allows players/staff to head home and not hub any longer than they had to.

Sounding more likely that Saad is leaving. Club and his manager seem miles apart with talk Essendon are offering around $500-550k x5 whilst 2 other clubs are offering $700k x5. North and Carlton are thought to be the two clubs.
Reckon he would stay if we got a bit closer but that’s a stack to pay for a running defender

Good player, but $700?

Carlton leading the race apparently.
$1.5m on 2 running defenders is a pretty penny
