Watching Lockett and ablett on footy flashback. Hey both would kick 100+ goal season on regular basis..
Wondering if it's possible to happen again and if so who do you think could do it?

Nope wont happen again.
If a player kicks 80 goals in a year it probably means he spends half of each game on the bench because we all know once you kick a goal its an absolute must that you sprint at 150 miles per hour to have a breather on the interchange.

Too much congestion in the game at the moment for it to happen. 70 goals or so will win it this year.
Down the track..who knows? Will probably happen again one day.

I have to agree.. May get shot down but I reckon the only bloke who possibly could would be Tippett. But can't ever seeing that happen

Have only really watched Port games this year and we haven't been doing it at all. I think the interchange cap has changed that.

Hopefully thats the case, it was one of the most ridicoulous things i have seen on football fields all around Australia.

With the current coaching techniques, it can't happen. All coaches would be saying "we're too one dimensional". Opposition coaches would work it out to quickly and shut them down.

Dunstall aswell. Those were great days when at one end Ablett kicked 14? and Salmon kicked 11? at the other end.

It would be difficult, but I'm sure someone will pop up and do it again one day, especially if the length of the season keeps increasing.
