12 goals should be enough against your mob.
You just know it’s a game Essendon will drop here.

Not a good time for Essendon to be losing two in a row…

Bye bye Voss. Sign up a proven coach. Pay the big bucks and let him have full reign and make it long term. Stop getting spud players and the coach will **** off the shit **** and hopefully get them into a better position. What a shit club.

Two Coleman Medallist’s and these clowns kick 6 or 7 goals most weeks.
8 of these jokers didn’t even bother laying a single tackle for the game

I’d like to know how much of their salary cap is paid to McGovern, Williams, Saad and Martin. All disappointing recruits.

I always love reading the Carlton Facebook page after a loss but the comments after this loss are next level.

I think the evidence is in that their issues go a lot deeper than the coaches they have had in charge, probblem is you have a board/admin that will never have the guts to look inward and do something about it and the coach will cop it....again

Everyone has focused on Carltons forward line and the issues with the twin towers of Curnow and McKay.

Personally, i think there looking at it the wrong way. For mine there issues lies in the absolute list cloggers that make up there small fowards, panic when they get the ball, apply zero pressure and offer next to nothing.

Between Motlop, Owies, Martin they landed 3 tackles. On top of that the likes of Motlop, Owies, Durdin rarely hit the scoreboard despite having two of the best big men in the game to feed off.

Should've signed Ross Lyon when we had the chance
Still would only be kicking 6 or 7 goals a game but would only be conceding 5 or 6
Not sure why anyone was bullish about Carlton's chances this year, still too many blokes getting games who wouldnt at other clubs

For me it’s our senior players letting us down.
Cripps is clearly injured but if he chooses to play he has to lead from the front not when he feels like it.
Whilst I admire and respect everything Docherty has been through I don’t think he’s a good leader either.
Goes missing when we need him.
Weitering is struggling this year, I’m assuming his personal issues are dragging him down or he’s carried the back lines for too long now.
McGovern is a senior player and needs to play like one and not pick and choice when he goes for a ball.
Kennedy and Hewitt are too inconsistent.
TDK isn’t half as good as the media make out he is.
SOS is lost and has no position each week but they continue to play him to fill gaps.
Curnow and McKay can’t kick for shit!

We’ve tried everything but sacking Voss isn’t the answer.

If Docherty didnt have cancer no one would even talk about him. Over rated footballer who the media loves because of his health issues

We were 8-2 after 10 last year so I'm not sure it's the list, losing to Melb and Collingwood by less than a kick in the last 4 games.

Someone please, needs to teach Curnow and McKay to kick drop punts. Even if they watch a tape of Fogarty from the Crows, who runs straight at the goals, would be a great start.

I still don't think we do the basics well enough - field kicking seems to be ok but the kicking into the forward line is horrendous! Then there is crumbing. When have we crumbed a contest in our forward line and scored a goal? I can't recall one recently. I can't even recall when we crumbed a contest.

Till we get those basics right, we'll not score enough to win games of footy.
