Should be a cracking game tonight but I'm not confident. We don't have the best record against the Swans.

The second Bud gets his 1000th (amazing effort, will never happen again, but) straight out of the side. The games past him he’s holding some handy kids back.

Sydney have a bloody bright future, and unfortunately Buddy ain’t in it.

Buddy just being on the field is worth it.

Buddy’s ball has been returned.

“I had a few stubbies that night and went to the pub after but got paranoid that someone would get it from my house so went home pretty early. It was always my intention to get it back to the Swans and Buddy!“

He got some buddy signed merchandise, 5 years swans membership and an scg membership

Not sure. But I’d doubt it.

If that's what he got fair enough and good him for not trying to shaft Franklin out of his dollars......

There were rumours he was getting $100k etc which I hope wasn't true and extremely undeserved.

The mundane conclusion to a franklinly sickening production. Nice to see the AFL allowing nuffys to target our players who ended up with this unwanted piece of history. Not the Swannies' fault naturally but some security around the players would have been nice. It's not often I turn over when the Cats are on but the Hawthorn wankfest was unendurable. Somehow these dickheads forgot he left the Hawks to go to Sydney.

As for the game, five more scoring shots for a file goal loss kind of hides just how dominant Sydney were in this game. The Cats are trying to run and gun it a bit more this season but it won't work against better drilled opposition until we can perfect it a bit more and it certainly won't work on the SCG where real estate is at a premium. For me, the umpires were very keen to get involved with Duncan not getting a free for having his head knocked off while Sydney getting 50 metres for Heeney knocking the ball out of a Cat's hands was the highlight.

Thank god that shit is over.

Isn't it theft in the first place? Do we all get to take a ball home if we mark it in the crowd?
