Sydney traded Mitchell for picks 16 & 58.
Swans Brownlow medallist Gerard Healy said it’s one of the worst all time trades...

Gerard is talking nonsense...
Mitchell wanted out... Not much we could have done about it. We had to try and get something...
Florent and Hayward are going to be very good footballers...

Rhyce Shaw is the AFL Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year.
Shaw joined North Melbourne as an assistant coach earlier this month after a decade at the Sydney Swans.

Pretty early call at the moment because we haven't seen enough of Hayward and Florient yet.

This has the Judd to Carlton trade written all over it really. Judd was amazing at Carlton in the early years when Kennedy was developing.

We had no choice to trade him, he didn't want to stay... We offered him good coin and turned it down...

He stands out more at Hawthorn because there he can be their number one, at Sydney he was behind Parker and Kennedy. Which is fair...

Heeney will overtake Mitchell in my opinion. Mills potentially could too.. As long as he stays away from fences and gridiron balls...

I am not to fussed losing him, yeah it would have been good to keep him. But as I said you can't do much if someone who doesn't want to be there
