Well I can't see Laidley improving on his 48% coaching record.

So what is everyone doing next Friday? Why would anyone bother to watch Sydney v Carlton? I'm going to a Quiz night to sink a few brews and chat up some birds.

clearly the 2nd half must have been better than the first half, cos in the first half the cats played like they have for the majority of the season - shizen

so Carlton will have an interim coach to take charge vs Sydney

And if I play devil's advocate I'd suggest he pulled the pin early because we would be 100's to win this one.

No Judd, no Gibbs, Walker and Henderson doubtful, no Jamison, no chance.

off to Richmond? He's said he'd give it up for a coaching position. I suspect he's got something lined up already.

Even Whately said we're not as bad as we've been playing. Despite that, Judd and Gibbs out, Walker and Henderson unlikely, we will get smashed but I hope Boekhurst, Graham and Buckley get some decent game time.

Cant agree with Whateley on that. Even on paper id say Carlton's list is close to the worst in the comp, not too many if any genuine A graders. The majority are just solid no frills players. They have a heap of absolute spuds who need to make way for the kids.

We're still not as bad as we're playing. If I could pinch 3 blokes from other clubs and slot them into our lineup right now, we'd be competitive with most sides. Last year, we were!

Problem is, we can't get Waite, Betts, Garlett back. But I'd only take Betts back from that lot. A good FF, CHF and CHB and we'd sure up our side pretty quickly. Our midfield are still ok IMO. Not great, but good. We win clearances, we just having nothing to kick to and no forward structure!

Was going to tip the Swans by 150 but no Gibbs, Murphy or Judd might bring the margin back under 100

LMAO Well played Rodney. I watched Cats v Carlton ( cos I follow one of the sides ha ha) then watched Sydney and Hawks the next night. It was like watching a different sport. Geelong are miles off Sydney and Hawthorn and we kicked 140 against the Blusaggers.

Buddy could give Fannings record a shake tomorrow after his bag of donuts against Hawthorn.
