MRP are disgraceful
Franklin 1
Tippett 1
But Stefan Martin gets 2 for a hit to the throat.
Goodes gets off, what a surprise.

If Buddy had have knocked out Edwards he would have got 3 weeks, yet because Edwards managed to get up he gets 1. Gibbs lays a tackle that knocks out the player and gets 2 weeks, yet if the player wasn’t knocked out he would have played the next week. The MRP makes no sense at all.

Dead set, the MRP is getting more and more baffling.

Franklin has two options, collect the ball and be tackled or over run the ball and take the player on. He does the latter.

He then collects the player high with a shoulder to the head.

Why is that a one week ban? ( 2 back to one )

I thought the Tippett one looked far worse than Buddy

Surely it was intentional not careless.
The good record/bad record thing surely has to be scrapped.
Franklin has been suspended many times before yet he has a good record? It's crap!

Absolutely, he chose to over run the ball and initiate contact. Baffling.

The way the foxtel guys were saying after the game they believed it all comes down to impact and damage done to the player, so if he was concussed or knocked out the impact would be graded higher and the penalty heavier.

Nothing to do with us playing them this week mate ( sure, it doesn't hurt ) but more to do with the way the MRP read incidents. Terribly inconsistent.

Anyway, we're a better chance with Tippett playing, means they've only got 17 on the ground. Giant uncoordinated over paid fair bread eating muppett that he is.

Come on FS! Derickx will probably bob up and kick 5, whilst we spend all night trying to hit Vossy on the tit up in the coaches box.

Then throw into that mix Hodge and Lewis getting 3 and 2 respectively when no damage was caused to their oponents

Elliot Yeo got the same penalty for a spoil he was 2 inches away from, with zero to intent to cause any harm. Both Franklin and Tippett had intent to harm
