Ol' catchphrase Kenny!
Talks the talk but can't follow it up.

He'd wanna start walking the walk with Ladey looking over his shoulder.

My tip: Kenny gone by round 8 and Ladey to take the reigns! ;)

I'd think most coaches would be similar when it comes to the daily grind. Sure, they're all different in post match pressers and pregame on field interviews, but I'd think on the Wednesday between round 4 and 5 they'd be all very similar in their approach. Wouldn't be many histrionics in the day to day goings on.

Yep you're probably right, would be hard delivering messages to players 5 days a week and trying to keep them engaged

Who would have thought Broadbent could dance

Yep that would be the way, bring in an ex Richmond assistant as your head coach  :)

He couldn't be any worse than Hinkley. ;)
And by all reports he is a straight shooter........ Not talk around in circles using current catchphrases and buzz words like Kenny!

Love the way non Port fans are so desperate to discredit Hinkley. To the point of wanting him sacked. Why? If he's such a crap coach, wouldn't you want him at Port forever?

I like to see all teams improve and think Port have under achieved in the last 2 years.
Things don't appear right at Alberton and its Ken's job to change that........ Or move on.

I agree. I think Port will improve next season. At least Top 8. And if that happens, is he a good coach again? Or will you give all the credit to Lade?

If they have some luck with injuries and miss the 8 then surely he goes.

I'm sure Lade will be an asset but ultimately Ken's in charge so if they do well, Ken deserves the credit.
Where is the improvement going to come from to move them up the ladder though?
Still lack depth and their leaders are a year older(stating the obvious there).

I hope he stays there forever unless Jacko becomes available! :D
It's good that Ken gets paid a pension from Port for being a decent footballer for the Cats. ;)

Jacko as head coach and Dave Granger as his assistant.
I like it!

Do that and slash the hair gel budget and there would be a mass exodus from Alberton.

It will be interesting to see how Port respond to finishing 10th with the easiest draw known to man in 2016.

It will be, yes. Although a ruckman, centre half back and full back will be handy inclusions.

Other than Dixon, what other tall forward who is not injured is going to kick enough goals for Port?

Port won't get any worse, but the teams around them look to have significantly more upside.

Can't see them finishing above 12th really.

You can't count Ryder as three players mate.

You sure?

Trengove, our centre half back, spent to majority of the year rucking so he wasn't in the spot he'll be in 2017. Hombsch played 10 games in '16 due to injury. He'll be at FB in '17.

Ryder + Trengove + Hombsch = 3. ( I'm good with numbers hey! )

Im still only counting one inclusion, since two of them played last year.

Hombsch's 10 disposals a game will surely be the difference.

Also, when you have Trengove and Hombsch in the same team in 2016, you're 5-5, all 5 wins against spud teams.
