I don't think Adelaide would be too happy, Im sure they had their fingers crossed that they could pick up Hurn or Varcoe (as would have Centrals fans) but fell just short.

As a Port supporter, i'm interested to know if anyone has any info regarding Nick Lower or Jonathan Giles. I heard Lower's name touted as a possible selection by some although i dont think he was listed in the official AFL website "phantom draft". I havent heard of Giles, do any centrals supporters know anything about him?

LOL I'm tipping you didn't fare too well against them then??
Both the Lower boys play fairly tall, ideal half back flanker type size ... Very hard at it, which I would imagine would have been of appeal to the Port brainstrust given the traditional no-backward step style they have always demanded!

Know what you mean Wedgie but even as a Crows supporter I am not too bothered as I didn't hold any hope of Hurn dropping that far and am actually amazed that he fell as far as 13. Great pick up by the West Coast and it won't surprise me if he is in their side for round 1 2006.

More Redlegs into the Power squad. And they say we didn't make the AFL. Port is just another SA composite side boys...only your mob aint the team for all South Australians ha ha.
