Grundy still not training (over 3 weeks with a foot injury) and Howe not trained since last week after surgery for a still bleeding corkie from last year. Beams returned to training after an illness so must have been quite severe.

I thought Walker had four recos? It was the first time I had heard of that happening. Now we've got Menzel with four and Johnson with five the poor sod.

Buckley extended his contract keeping him at Victoria Park until the end of 2021.

Taylor Adams has badly broken a finger and requires a bone graft, he's expected to miss 8 weeks or more.

I'm my day a Chick amputed and got on with it. Maybe it was on Adams' punching hand.

Watched the game last night and very impressed by Tyler Brown.
Chip off the old block.
Considering the temperature over there the boys didn't look too distressed so must be in good nick.
Hate to be trying to pick the side for round 1.

Stephenson in strife for placing a bet on Collingwood earlier this year.

If true it could be bye bye season 2019 for the young man.

Staggered to think he would even do this. The rules are pretty clear about players betting so can't understand what part of the rules he didn't get? Big out for Collingwood as he's been very good this year (apart from not kicking straight last game!).

Agree. Listening to Jordan Lewis and Jarrod Roughead on 360 last night, they were pretty blunt about the education on that sort of thing.

By Eddie wasn't it? Not by the AFL? I've seen a text message that may suggest it's not over just yet.
