eg Anthony Stevens has just been named as the 8th legend at North Melbourne, but isnt in the Hall of Fame.

He played 292 games, was Club captain, All Australian, played in 2 Premierships, won 2 B&F's & 4 times r/up & is the heart & soul of the Kangas.

The 7 other Legends at the Roos are:

Wayne Schimmelbusch, John Dugdale, Keith Greig, David Dench, Allen Aylett, Les Foote & Lawrie Dwyer.

Its very Interesting that Norths all time greatest player Wayne Carey isnt a Legend at the Roos

4 times he came second?
Hopefully it wasn't to Carey again ;)

I had a look but I can't find when Anthony Stevens was the runner up BnF. Carey won the BnF in 1992, 93, 96 and 98. Stevens was named best team man in 1996.

Everyone who's ass points to the ground knows Wayne Carey is the greatest Roo ever if not the best AFL player ever, So these bullshit popularity awards means sweet FA.

For what it's worth I hold A.Stevens in the highest regard was a fantastic footballer. And no one will argue Archer's guts,Spirit and heart.

David King could carry Wayne Carey's bag to the game!

Exactly!
Stevens, Archer, Harvey etc were all good players(still are in Boomers case) but to compare them to Wayne Carey is just plain stupid!

Is Carey still out of the fold at North?
Was mentioned that he was in Bali currently and the only one missing from their 96 Premiership reunion

With the way your coach acted in the presser I am not surprised how many excuses you lot come up with now. Most embarrassing press conference ever.

Bit harsh. Doesn't hold a candle compared to the GC presser after McKenna was pissed off.

That seriously has to be the longest bow drawn ever on this site! Nice!
You do realise 100+ years is more than 25?
You actually backed up what he said! :?

He does have a bit of a habit of saying stupid shit and for some reason, it always refers back to the Crows lol.

He said neither of their teams has enough history to be awarded legend status to anyone, my point was 4 x 300 game players over 25 years who are all legends of the club vs 5 x 300 game players over 100+ years to get the same result. Pretty easy to understand Wedgie, even for a simpleton.

I wouldn't expect a bum crack to understand what I was saying.
