I think it favours the Cats. Hawthorn are space guarders who rely on precision uncontested football. My view is that if Hawthorn aren't taking a lot of marks, they aren't winning.

I think it favours Hawks. Umps will look for any reason to give a free kick in the conditions, and Hawks have a knack of getting 50/50 umpiring decisions and making the most of it.

If you say so.

Seeming we do nothing to win a game ourselves I believe we may just roll Stevic out and rest 22. :goodman:

We better not have bloody Stevic umpiring on Friday night, f#@$ me !

Your fascination with constantly bagging North crowds & trolling Brayshaw (over & over & over) is very much similar to that of UK Fan's obsession with Port's crowd no's.
By all means keep going, maybe turn the record over occasionally though

The bias we get at home is easily evened out by the raping we get when we travel.
Even the Crows game, 20-12 Crows way and we dominated play for the evening.

I do, Richmond are often in my cross hairs, obviously Adelaide and I'm also partial to sinking the slipper into Sydney. I'm sorry if that doesn't make you feel so special anymore. ;)

Please, don't compare me to UK in anyway whatsoever. I'd like to think I offer some constructive debate on plenty of topics on here and I'm not a dog with just one bone.

Think it favours the Hawks forward line assisting getting the ball to ground without the talls. Not sure about elsewhere on the ground, Geelong could be a bit top heavy

Not sure that Henderson gets up. Kersten won't be selected. If Geelong had the chance to go in top heavy they would but Menzel holding his place for Kersten is a no brainer and the wet weather will make the decision on Henderson if he is only 50/50. We've gone in big all year and I believe we have been structured all year specifically to combat Hawthorn. Problem is it is not such a great set up when you are copping manic speed and pressure like St Kilda, Carlton and Collingwood all applied to us with our worst losses.

Ceglar out is pretty huge for you guys. One of the reasons we got the jump on you in round one was that you had to play the Raw Pittonet as Ceglar didn't play in that game. Geelong while tall, are tall and mobile with guys like Blicavs and Stanley pretty quick for their size. Only Zac Smith is McEvoy slow and I'd back Smith to catch him.

It will be the best final I reckon. Totally unbiased of course.

Clarkson doesn't rate contested ball for a reason, if you're winning contested ball you're in a contest, if you're not winning contested ball you're controlling the ball and that's the Hawks plan.

Hawthorn 17th for contested possession, 16th for contested marks. 6th for total marks.

Doesn't mean they're not good at it if needs be. Hodge, Lewis, Mitchell and Rioli can all win contested ball.
