Cats v Giants for mine .. If there was to be an upset I'd think it would be Sydney, pretty confident GWS will get the job done

Think Sydney vs Western Bulldogs. No real science behind it, just the "vibe" I'm getting.

I would love it to be a Sydney derby just to stick it up the vics.

But anything except a Geelong flag will do me. Not that I don't like them or I'm bitter about danger, just because that's the most "boring" outcome

Sydney is pretty boring, very in fact. For mine, the Dogs ( for a mate who passed 18 months ago ), GWS, Sydney and **** Geelong. ;)

If my perfect record of preferred teams continues it will be a Geelong v GWS GF.
I reckon a Geelong v Western Bulldogs GF would be more fun with the lead up etc, either, or.
Would be great for the game of it was an all Sydney affair or if the Bulldogs make, so much potentially great combinations.
Would rather Geelong lose this week than the GF so I could have a stress free GF.
Not as scared as other Prelims in the last decade as there's no teams I dislike left.

I think that it will be a great GF no matter what the mix is, all 4 teams have a great story attached to them. And no Hawks is refreshing.

That club doesn't exist anymore.

Incorrect - "The club has been based in Sydney since the South Melbourne Football Club was relocated to Sydney in 1982. The South Melbourne Football Club was founded in 1874 and was strong through the 1880s. It won three premierships in 1909, 1918 and 1933 before experiencing 72 years without a premiership, the longest premiership drought of any club. The club broke the drought in 2005,[5] and has won one more premiership since, in 2012."

So it's got a different name, in a different state, but it's still the same club? Interesting. :D

Are you a different person when you go interstate?
Actually, don't answer that!

i just find it interesting that one club can change it's name and move to another city and another keeps it's name but changes competitions and how the two are viewed so differently.

South Melbourne are no more, that name hasn't been used for 30 years.

Completely different, a club can move, it can change names, its still the same club.
A brand new entity that gets a traditional club to change its name so it can name itself that does not become that traditional club.
If I renamed myself Freddie Mercury I wouldn't suddenly like men and be able to sing nor be able to claim Freddie Mercury's history.
Quite simple.

You seem like a very intelligent individual boon and it baffles me you have so much trouble grasping this issue you talk about on a regular basis
