If he's only 50/50 then I'd say he doesn't play. You'd need him at 90% minimum I would say. If you asked Sloane try and hold him back. If you ask the Medicos it might be a different story.

He had his appendix removed, not an organ transplant.
Minor surgery these days, he'll be fine to play.

Fantastic news about McGovern but shame Lever going is almost a certainty now otherwise he would've been re-signed first.

Yeah of course. The key word in my post is if. I'd be surprised if he didn't suit up. Now, if it was Junior.....

Big footy Adelaide's forum has an obituary of Sam Jacobs brother Aaron passing away overnight. Aged 31

Yes this is correct heard from a friend of a friend. Apparently he died in his sleep. Recently had knee surgery
not sure if a blood clot or a side affect from the surgery was the reason?
Very sad news.

Probably important to mention he had his appendix removed before it burst. Eddies burst then was removed and cleaned up so he would have had a bit more of a difficult process.

Big selection with Tex, Talia and Greenwood all coming back in.

I would play Hartigan in front of Keath so i think those 3 will come in for Milera, Keath, Seedsman or Mackay

There would also be an argument to play 3 genuine tall defenders with Patton / Cameron / Lobb all up forward for GWS.

I see Rory's out the door at the end of next season with the afl releasing free agent list for next season. They should trade him this trade period coming up to make sure they get market value, perhaps a swap for Gibbs is pretty fair

Saw are propsed trade deal to get Gibbs to Adelaide on big footy.

It was a funny to say the least and just shows how much people hate Carlton. But here it is:

Gibbs to Adel
Lever to Ess
Green and 3rd rounder to Carlton

Lol, bit harsh on Carlton, even with some made up bullshit

Barrett reckons Gibbs to Adelaide will happen this time around. It just depends on what Carlton want to do. Hes contract and Carlton hold all the cards. But perhaps with current situation they feel loading up on a few more first round picks is the key.

Surely they can't afford to lose one of their 5 best players when they're so light on with experience.
