Pub Band v Rolling Stones... best analogy i've seen on this debate.

Yes and so far I have see 2 articles written by women claiming that if she was a man she would be paying a fine. Then calling her a trail blazer for women's rights.Booney wrote:“I believe my tackle on Harriet Cordner was reasonable and I strongly disagree with the guilty finding,” Brennan said.
“It is even more troubling to know that if I was a man playing in the AFL and was reported for the identical tackle, I would not have been suspended and I would be playing in a grand final tomorrow.
“The fight for gender equality is as every bit as important to me as the grand final and the decisions I have made reflect both of those priorities.”
From memory it wasn't this tackle that got her suspended but it's the cumulative effect of two prior fines she's received this year?
If that's right ( I think it is ) then wouldn't a man also have been suspended?

Absolutely. I would expect the same thing soon gor Mouncey to play in the AFLW next season now.LMA wrote:Need to be careful with this line of argument could open the door for Heather Mouncey and none of the girls would want that.
