Unsure, however I believe the Olympic movement ( and as such the AFL ) are more interested in testosterone levels as opposed to testicle levels.

They've basically gone half pregnant, you can play women's footy but not in the AFLW competition. In essence, shut up, we've let you play but not with us.

Whilst I am and was all for SSM, the fact the AFL went "YES" for a day shows they're constantly worried about not alienating minority groups.

I think it was safeguarding themselves so Hannah can't be a late inclusion to the AFLW this season.

They will probably sit back and monitor the backlash from this decision before going all in next season, they've backed themselves into a corner on this one I feel.

Absolutely agree 100%. When my daughter grows up and if she wants to play Aussie Rules. I would not be open for a boy (who wants to be a girl) playing in her team or against her. It's just my beliefs that, that shouldn't be allowed.

I might enter myself into the sheep dog trials at the 2018 Royal Adelaide Show.

Odd, I would have thought Bathurst or Clipsal would be more your thing.

I'm 6"3, 99kg and have a dick.

Is Hannah legally a male or a female!!!

I know I'm being very simplistic but would that not provide the answer as to whether she can or cannot play

For me, the issue is it gained the size and strength as a dude not a chick. Testosterone levels are low enough now to be classed as a chick but the size is already there. It would be like someone using roids for 2 years and got massive, then quit them and played straight away.

It's pretty clear that most people haven't the slightest understanding of the impact that low testosterone has on the body.

So she's tall and heavy. So is Sarah Perkins. It doesn't necessarily make either of them a good footballer.

I think taking guidance from the IOC and other world bodies is appropriate here.

It wouldn't be like that at all.

If I took you and put you on steroids for two years, you wouldn't necessarily get massive and when you came off them you'd probably return to the same size you were before.

She's be a woman who's developed her strength and size as a woman, not a man

Fine, she's always been a female.
