Apart from the umpiring fraternity, nobody loves Hawthorn, nobody. Even Hawthorn supporters don't love Hawthorn, they only barrack for the Hawks because they hate Geelong.

Its a good start though, i mean youd hardly barrack for Port if you hated Geelong, doesnt make sense, 119 and all that. Hawks on the other hand......

Hate you? No mate, bit of sympathy for Cats fans, I mean to have your heart broken over and over and over after waiting for over 40 years for anything of significance must be horrible, just horrible. Then there's the living in Geelong part.

Yes other than that whole Kennetts curse thing for a few years, you've been jolly decent chaps by and large!

That's all in the past...just like Port actually being a Power instead of just being named one.

Thoughts all on where Nakia Cockatoo is at with his footy. Is he to be played as an enigmatic forward or should he be pushed more into the midfield?

Both. In the Caddy role. We need his hardness because we were absolute marshmellows last year. I wouldn't like to be tackled by Cocky he is a beast. He also needs regular games regardless of role so he gets more confidence. I believe he is more than the enigmatic forward due to his physical pressure in the forward line. This compliments the likes of Gregson and McCarthy. We need someone with pace who is hard at it and goes well at Ground Level. Not too many Cats fit this bill in the forward line. I'm hoping he plays 22 this year mostly up front but also rotating through the middle learning his craft.

I really liked the look of Cockatoo in the preseason games, he looked good. Really hoping he can step up to the next level considering our lack of depth.

Terrible decision, whilst the Scott brothers may have been good players they are not good coaches
