Simple, who has the worst club song?
I think Richmond's is the catchiest, many cringe at the old heave ho, although I used to be a North Melbourne supporter, their song hurts my ears.

North's is pretty catchy, I wrote a version for our cricket club along the lines of the Roos song years ago, the committee didn't take it on. Our other one isn't really for public singing.
The poll should have two options, Fremantle and Adelaide.

The word "recreation " should never feature in a song.
Fremantle's is so bad that it's good, I've done a few renditions after they've played a Saturday night game and I've downed a few CC's, we all join in and sing it as horrible as we can.

I like how North's has the verse and chorus bits. IMHO most of the traditional Victorian clubs have the best songs, like Richmond, Collingwood, and Essendon.
That said, Carlton's is ghastly, its like a funeral dirge.

Yep. And Adelaide would be streaks ahead if the 'Here we go Camry Crows' pre-Greg Champion song was on the table.

Swans may not have the best song (I think they do

) but their song has the best banjo solo going round in it

Ports is terrible too. Its like they deliberately chose as many 1 and 2 syllable words as they could, to resonate with the supporter base

There are a few candidates for worst... such a shame I could only vote for one!
Richmond best song by far, even if it doesn't get played that often.

Agreed, you can't beat a big crowd at the MCG belting out "Yellow and Black".

The Carlton, Port, Adelaide, Bulldogs, Brisbane, West Coast and Freo songs are all terrible.
The Geelong, Collingwood, Hawthorn and Essendon songs are ok.
I love St Kilda's song, we changed the words to to it to make it our unofficial cricket club song- When the Gulls (Seagulls) Go Marching In. It goes off when we're on the piss.
Really like North Melbourne's too and Richmond's is an obvious winner. Melbourne's and Sydney's are great too, all three of those staple songs for so many clubs so can't go wrong with them.

As a Crow supporter our song is terrible. So many good options out there and we accepted that. Has anyone heard Melbourne Victories song. Based on Scotland the Brave. Great to hear live.

Probably why it remains popular.

Probably why it remains popular, not like PinkFM

Couldn't vote as I never bother to listen to them to recall them, even if the TV is still on.
I vaguely recall bits of the Crow's and the Power's, but they all seem fairly mediocre.

Pi%% off DK! Ours is awesome. You can console yourself by knowing you won't hear it very often at games' end. Sigh....
