Worst part is the changing of interpretation mid season. Cotchin gets a fine of $1500 3 weeks ago, Hawkins gets a week this week for the same thing.

What they should have done is give Hawkins a $5000 fine and let players know they'll get hit in the hip for the remainder of this season and next year it'll be a game.

Meh, all players draw attention to infringements, pretty certain he was chasing a free kick not a report.

The frequency of these cowardly jumper punches were (are) increasing though. It needed to be stamped out, if that requires a MRP adjudication adjustment, so be it.

I reckon "jumper punch" is the shittiest term to come into footy in some time. It's a punch, to the face. It deserves a week.

Just part of the Cat player rotation policy . You can't let blokes beat up your skipper all night. All Sloaney needs is someone to step up and say not on my watch but it won't happen as the corporation hasn't hired an enforcer.
