Struggle for 4 or 5 years and your card might be marked "no good". Unlikely given his resume and credentials, but it's a fickle industry driven by results and he doesn't get the results who knows.....

Let's face it, you can't polish a turd and the GC are a long way off, they've generally had a bad run of injuries but that horse has bolted now, their list just isn't up to it, even at full strength.
