Nah it was initially a great tackle, what he did after wasn't great.

Ill be staggered if this isnt a 6 week "injury"

A very good piece.

There isn't a doubt that professional footballers are handsomely remunerated, but they could make a very strong case that they earn it.

The physical exertion for 3 hours on a weekend is the tip of the iceberg when evaluating the pressures placed upon them.

Rex Hunt will call Saturday nights game on 3AW between St Kilda & Collingwood, celebrating 50 years in the game.
He’ll be joined by Sam Newman & Robert Walls. Shane McInnes will have the job of trying to keep them in control.

Word from Melbourne is that the AFL is to buy into the redevelopment of Punt Road to get it something like a 25k capacity, with St Kilda, Western Bulldogs and North Melbourne to use it as a home ground with cricket to have it as the back up to the MCG.

Hope not.

Also havn't cricket Victoria just got Junction Oval as their new base for all games not played at the MCG? I'm sure that facility opened up this season just gone.

If true the Richmond Cricket club would be livid after being forced off Punt Rd with the last Football club redevelopment.....
