You reckon? I don't think it's any tougher than others. (Collingwood aside)

Adelaide top 4 hopeful
Essendon and Bulldogs top 8 hopeful
West Coast just outside the 8
Fremantle bottom 6

Apart from the Crows you would be confident against any of those others I would have thought.

Just think a few of the games are prob closer to 50/50 - Freo & WC in Perth, Hawks in Tassie, Essendon & North at Etihad, Geelong, both Crows games, GWS and Richmond.

It's hard to decipher whether you'd rather play shit teams away or good teams away and vice versa.

Funny game, interesting draw, it's why the better teams just roll up with the Malcolm Bight analogy.

Ultimately there really is no "easy" games and the teams at the top get there as, to coin a phrase, you get what you deserve. ;)

Didn't port finish 2017 at AO? I thought this was supposed to be alternate years. Crows are playing Carlton away...

Correct.

Unusual to see us start and finish the season at the oval.

Unusual to wait until round 8 for a Showdown, too.

Will see a drop in crowds IMO.

Any footballer won't be able to attend Rounds 1, 3, 8, 16, 18 or 21

I really can't justify buying season tickets :(

Round 1 March 24
Round 3 April 7

They'd both be before the likes of you kick off the dew, yes?

Round 21 August 11

You'll be in Mildura pissed by then, wouldn't you?

Rd 3 will coincide with Rd 1 of ammos.
Rd 21 will coincide with Rd 18 of ammos.

Tough draw? There's no easy draws.

Bad time slots? Saturday twilight is if you play ammo's.

McDermott came out and complained about the number of Crows night games next year and how that could impact their premiership chances if they make the GF again being a Saturday afternoon game.

Guess there is commentary about all clubs and their draw/time slots.. are the Crows getting in early with their excuses?
