Would be nice, Fremantle are 6th alphabetically, does that count in round 1?
Considering most people counted the round 1 win against Sydney as a top 8 scalp, I think the Freo suggestion has merit.

Beating the previous seasons Grand Finalist, on their home deck in R1- a team that made the 8 in 2017, is that so hard to understand why most people regarded it as a win against a top 8 team? Pretty obvious I'd say, but let's move on.

Well they couldn't beat a side in the 8 when it mattered most

I wonder if Port might try playing him off a wing or HFF.. Quality player when on, and genuine line breaker - could be a good link between forward and back.

Pure gold...however once I stop laughing, apart from clogging up a list spot (may even be a rookie?) there is no real downside for this from Port's perspective. I would say part of this deal is we are paying 90% of his contract as we need to fill out our cap for another year anyway, Port couldn't fit another $450K+ into the cap I wouldn't think, but get a depth player for 12 months, he gets to show if he can extend his AFL career, we get cap space in 2019 and to clear a spot for another kid in 2018.
