If we only get 15 for Wingard we've been shafted, again.

But he's toxic isnt he?

Who would want to pay top dollar for a distraction?

Yep my thoughts exactly.

Leadership has failed and that is something I can safely comment on!

He'll be even crankier now that he's flying home from America today after being 1 week into a 3 week holiday in the States with the boys

Industry talks. I'd be taking 15 in a heartbeat but if Burton is thrown in by Hawthorn...why has this not been agreed too by Port?

Agreed, should be taking it, especially if Scully is now sniffing about and will potentially see 15 off the table.
Only thing I can think of is that it hasn't been rejected, but simply hasn't been signed off on yet cause Burton hasn't agreed.

Be an interesting meeting when he catches up with the Hawthorn FC people.

He might be able to find them in the pockets sniffing for a stoppage, no bother looking in the corridor

Just jumped in the car and 5AA was on, they reckon (and Wildy would know as he is mates with Burtons dad) that Ryan has just purchased a home in Melbourne and his girlfriend moved across this year. That’s got to be a negative to come back

Yeah that and he apparently loves Melbourne, likes playing at Hawthorn and likes playing under Clarkson.

Has not coming back to this shithole that's for sure.

Isn’t his girlfriend Bruce Abernethys’s daughter?
There is that link I guess.

And you can always sell a house mate! ;)

I feel for Burton a tad

If he doesn’t perform he will be the bloke that cost Hawthorn Wingard.

Or he could end up at Port.

Sam Mayes will 100% get done. Not sure what for though, would have to be a pick in next years draft at this stage

Looks like Wingard is happening. Burton’s manager just threw the Hawks under the bus. Hawks are now flying him home from the US in first class and the spend will be going in their soft cap
