Shaun Burgoyne named Australian Captain ahead of Club captains Boak, Pendles, Fyfe etc, Absolute superstar of the game and fantastic to see how well respected in the game to be chosen ahead of the other captains in the squad

375ml < 425ml though
Its the only reason West End is cheaper as its poured out of cans where Superdry is a poured pint. I constantly snigger at the people who comment they're beter of financially getting WED.
Personally I wouldn't drink either for a quarter of the price.

As far as I'm aware all bars will now be cashless.

Going by that for the frugal amongst us
2.4c per ml of WED
2.21c per ml of SD

Having said that i dont think WED is poured out of a can in the members, pretty sure its tap

The only time I went to one of these games was at Footy Park. Me and a mate smuggled in two bottles of Jamesons and were that bored we'd knocked both of them off midway through the second quarter. I fell face first onto Max Basheer Reserve after the game and was very unwell the next day.

But even with a free ticket I'm not sure I'd bother to drive down.
I can get free corporate box access to matches at Alberton Oval via an old friend, but so far have never drummed up enough interest to make the trek.

Game is at Adelaide Oval

Yes I was aware of that and for me that about 22 Km from home via the CBD and further going around - too far to bother given my only mild interest. The Alberton reference was to that also being too far to bother with for Crow or Norwood against Power Reserves matches, even for a freebie and the corporate facilities....

Sorry I didn't make it clear enough when I typed it - at the time it didn't think it would be unclear, as everybody knew the hybrid game was not at a suburban oval.

That's the story he tells the media. The real story of the biff on that tour is far more entertaining but he wouldn't be gloating about it. Ted Whitten wasn't just drinking wine like he said. Ted orchestrated all the thuggery and violence from the Australians and pretty much coached the team.

I was suprised how busy it was, anyone hear a crowd number? We catered for 15k but looked well over 20 from where I was.

Yeah have heard a few of the other stories. Teddy always had the win at all costs approach, no surprises there.

25k turned up, mostly Irish and Crows supporters.. boring as bat shit, no atmosphere and half a stadium of “special” crowd fans having orgasms about Betts and bagging everyone else.

I only encountered a couple of Crows supporters, was surprised by how many fans from all AFL clubs were there, was even West Coast and Brisbane fans that I served.
Atmosphere was great in the bottom of the southern stand, when the under was scored was as loud as any AFL match. Was a really good vibe about the day, much more fun to serve than an AFL game and a way better atmosphere than the NRL and soccer games that were at AO.
