Absolutely right there Spargo, where do the journo's get the stories?
People close to those affected obviously want the club to be held accountable.
Wonder if there will be law suits when contracts/careers are over?

Hampton has been playing good SANFL footy for a number of weeks now, had a long injury lay off so can’t really see what the issue was. He now has the run in his legs and some good form behind him. I would have maybe played him the last game or 2. His form has also been pretty strong mid 20s in touches and a few goals so the mental scars can’t be toooooo bad. Non-issue for me.

Atkins chances have finally run out :D

It's an interesting argument.
I never liked it when Shaun Rehn sued over his knee injury. I also didn't like it when there were the claims for long service leave. Injuries in sport and the lack of "leave entitlements" were known elements when players started playing, so changing the rules after the fact seemed wrong to me.
Nevertheless, that's the precedent that has been set and in this day and age, they are employees of their respective clubs.

I think it was Titus the other week made a joke about the repeated and ongoing hamstring issues, and that if it was any other employer who had injured 25% of their staff, work safe SA would have shut them down.

In what other workplace is your employer allowed to dig up personal dirt on you and use it to create mental health issues?

Don't get me wrong, I feel the players all agreed to take part in the camp where it was known they would be pushed mentally (allbeit it went further than they realised), and therefore they shouldn't now turn around and make claims against the club, but in light of the items mentioned above, and the direction the industry is heading, I won't be shocked when one, if not more, put claims in.

Love how Sloane's comments have been kept out of majority of these great journalists articles.

For those that missed it he said “I 100 per cent came back from that camp feeling like a better husband, a better son and a much better teammate than when I was before I left for that camp. For me the experience was unbelievable,”.

It was covered a lot this week after Judd called him a liar on Footy Classified Monday night and Sloane tweeted back at him he had no idea

The only law suit will be from collective minds seeking damages from these so called journalists and their companies!

Laugh or you'll cry.

Lynch was set to play but suffered a knock and concussion at training yesterday. Ellis-Yoleman has suffered a quad strain yesterday and is also out.

It's reasonable for Judd to assume Sloane was just toeing the party line, players are very well versed at doing so.

Sloane rightly had a comeback and good on him.

The more I hear and read about Juddy, the more I like him.

I used to have triple M on Friday evenings last year when travelling home from my sons training, I didn't mind what he had to say then, now he's one of the straight shooters of the media who doesn't hide behind what he thinks the public wants to hear.

Which ironically is totally opposite to what he was like as a player. He was one of the biggest toe the party liners when the Eagles drug saga was in the news & he was at Carlton then.
I too enjoy the Friday huddle (from the Judd cave) & Saturday rub, especially when they're taking the p!55 out of each other. Juddy is pretty good with his best & worst for the week too.
