True. A truly great victory.

Yes the women did play well in their Grand Final victory

Yeah but they let you down on the last Saturday in September on the G.

Well, they did drop Wigg.

I really thought the crows hierarchy would have worked harder to secure Wigg. Or was it a case of Wigg not being able to cement himself on..... err in?

It’s the truth. How would you like him put a positive spin on it?

I never said he needed too.
Cleary just enjoys giving it to us but only behind Cornes, Rucci and Ralph

Sports reporter Mitch Cleary has told Sportsday Radio:

“The Crows hierarchy were left scratching their heads in recent times after questionable time trail and skinfold numbers returning from the offseason break.
Senior players and coaching staff were forced to talk through these numbers -- a largely constructive meeting held between the players and the coaches.
“The younger players in particular told to pull up their socks in the lead up to Christmas.”

Did Taylor Walker deliver his feedback via telephone?

Dodged a bullet!

Thanks Tippo

FIVE years after agreeing to join the Crows before being caught up in the “Tippett-gate” scandal, Jesse White will finally play football in Adelaide.

The powerfully built key forward/ruckman, who retired from the AFL at the end of last season, has joined SANFL club Glenelg, which will be coached by his former Sydney mentor Mark Stone.

“It’s funny how things have turned out and that I’ve virtually come full circle,’’ said 29-year-old White, who played 127 AFL games and kicked 148 goals in 11 seasons for the Swans and Collingwood.

Five years ago I had agreed to a trade to Adelaide and I’m pretty sure I signed a document saying I was right to go and that a trade was pretty much done.

“That was on a Friday but by the end of the weekend all that stuff came out with Kurt (Tippett), the Crows were banned from trading by the AFL and all the paperwork got torn up.

“I guess the rest is history and I stayed at Sydney. It’s funny how things have turned around and that five years later we (White and long-time partner Jodi) are heading back to Adelaide.’’

White, 196cm and 102kg, was set to be traded to the Crows by Sydney as part of a deal for key forward Tippett, who had quit the club.

But the trade collapsed after the AFL uncovered secret third-party salary cap breaches between Adelaide and Tippett, resulting in massive penalties.

The Swans then selected Tippett in the pre-season draft.

White had agreed to join the Crows in search of more opportunities after he played just three games in 2012 while Jodi is an Adelaide girl.

The pair had met through White’s former Swans teammate Heath Grundy, who was drafted from Norwood.

White and Jodi now have a three-year-old daughter, Evie.

was that a typo that the Crows had 81000 members.

2017 TALLY: 81,062

CURRENT TALLY: 72,096

ONLINE HUB: 19thman.com.au

REASONS TO BUY: After the heartbreak of this year's Grand Final loss to Richmond, the Crows will be desperate to go one step better and claim the club's first premiership since 1998. The Crows have bolstered their line-up with the addition of Carlton star Bryce Gibbs. The South Australian product returns to his home state eager to take the Crows to the promised land. He joins a midfield featuring Rory Sloane and the Crouch brothers, Matt and Brad. And you can't mention the Crows without talking about mercurial forward Eddie Betts. He's worth the price of admission alone with his remarkable goals. - Lee Gaskin

I think those are the AFL's ornithologically adjusted figures, which include all species of crow that currently exist within South Australia.

Perhaps it includes members for their women's team?

Good point.
I assumed Crows members were for both teams.
Would you be a female member and not the men’s team?

After AFL audit the Crows ended up on just over 56k.
The Crows had nearly 13k in free memberships such as internet memberships and the like.
For memory they also claimed about 12,000 other memberships that aren’t officially recognised by the AFL as they don’t meet the criteria of what they deem a true membership
