To be fair they generally dont leave until they become decent players. Bidding war between 9 victorian clubs just as they are hitting their peak is ideal

That's actually a good point. There is always 3 or 4 Vic clubs rebuilding or have freed up cap space to pay an interstate player 300-500k extra a year than what there current team can afford.

I saw briefly on the back of the paper the headline read something like "Pike signs, now for the captain".

Would the added pressure on Sloane be more likely to force him away, or encourage him to stay?
