Been hearing that for the last 5 years from Crows supporters.
Got the goods but I reckon he lacks a bit of ticker.

Yeah I realise that but he had a good preseason in 2015 and 2016 from memory and then didn’t follow it up.
This has to be his season otherwise you would have to look at moving him on.

Who does he replace in the side?

Scott Thompson and Richie Douglas who I think will go back to cover the loss of Smith
Might also just swap on and off the bench with Greenwood in the middle

Thompson wasn’t playing last year though & Gibbs is a walk up start.
I reckon he’ll struggle to play much AFL.

If Walker is out, might as well drop Jenkins too. Looks lost out there without the usual setup, needs others to bring him into the game. Brisbane or whoever that were going to pay big bucks for him dodged a bullet there.

Slow Douglas who can't kick 45m to replace Smith?

Gee Port supporters up and about after winning a trial, suppose when you haven’t won a ‘Showdown’ in so long you need to celebrate where you can

Plenty of others with pace, has done the role previously

He had Dangerfield, Sloane & Thompson in front of him those 2 years.
Last year was to be his chance but injury put a stop to that. Totally agree he has to step up this year as he is getting to peak age.

When Sloane leaves at the end of this year it should clear the path for him to play then

Well, by virtue of winning yesterday's massive game I can only assume they are the premiership favourites.

I know someone (possibly a poster on here) who spoke to a Port assistant coach preseason who was “supremely” confident on how they’d go this year...

fair enough.
do they ever play at the 36ers stadium anymore?
No. Always Priceline
Played a few games at titanium last season and the entertainment centre this season.
Trouble with Priceline is only having 3 stands... putting a 4th in would be ideal

Fogarty is a tank. It's amazing how kids like him, Wines, Powell-Pepper now come into the AFL system at 90kg+ at 19 and look ready to play at the top level, certainly look capable of taking the physical punishment.
