Slightly off-topic but I've got a mate who like you is both a Glenelg & St Kilda supporter and he always goes on about the abject misery
of supporting both of those teams ;)

Be interesting to see how we got about getting into the second round of the draft this year aswell as what we give up to get Hannabery, the rumour is a future seconder rounder will get enough.

Surely the Saints won't be pressured into giving their first pick up, if the future 2nd rounder isn't enough then maybe next years first? As you said, they need to get into the 2nd round but not sure how they are going to do it. Billings worth a 2nd rounder? Finished the year off well after he was dropped. Not too sure who else is in the second round range for the saints that is expandable

Isn't Lonie looking to leave the Saints? He could be involved somehow.

I wouldnt want us to give up next years 1st round pick either we still need to bring in top end talent we dont have game breakers in our side. Billings shows glimpses of it but not consistent enough. And yeah there isnt alot on the list with alot of value so might end up being swaps of picks to help clubs with points value.

Also we need a ruckman Longer and Hickey just aint good enough, Pearce showed a little bit late but we got smashed in there all year.

Hannebery and Armitage are similar type players, does this mean Armitage is gone?

Jack Steven takes home his 4 bnf equalling Robert Harvey and Bill Cubbins for 2nd most bnf’s with Riewoldt leading the way on 6.
Seb Ross second and Jack Steele third.

Jade Greesham took him best emerging player
Jack Steele won the Lenny Hayes player trademark award
And Dylan Roberton won the best clubman award, will be good to see him back out there next season.

Strange thing about St.klida is that there is a bit to work with. Not saying a great list but still a bit t ok work with. Should be better than what they showed this season.

4 B&F's as a player is a huge effort & I'd suggest most 4 time winners at any club generally always go down as club greats.

Do Saints fans feel this way about Steven? If the Saints were picking a greatest ever team would he make it based on this?
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

As an opposition supporter, to me he is just a good honest player. Not trying to be disrespectful of him or his achievement.
